Teenage Dream

  I’ve never been one to pray much, shame I know, but the older I’m getting my faith seems to get stronger. I’m at a difficult point in my life and all I can do is pray. I’ve made mistakes and I know that in the situation I’m stressing over that I’ve set myself up for failure and all I can do is pray. I’ve been through alot in my life, alot that I never thought I’d make it through, alot that I never want to go through again; and when I was younger I never thought about who helped get my family and I through out of our tough times, but now at the age of 17 years and 10 months old I now know that the Lord has bestowed blessing upon blessing on my family, some major ones and some minor ones. And I know I sound totally selfish but I’m praying that he pulls through for me again. But as the saying goes “It’s all in his hands” so I’m going to sit back and let him work, because I know he won’t lead me wrong.

 I haven’t written in awhile and it’s because I haven’t felt the need to vent about anything the past few weeks. Everything’s been fine. And I hoped it would stay that way but of course, it didn’t. People have been overstepping their boundaries while others just go around saying things that aren’t true whatsoever, and you know, it kind of hurts. I’m not normally a pansy and I usually ignore what people say about me, I just never found other peoples opinion’s about me to be, well meaningful, I just never cared, as long as I as happy I would ignore the comments. But this time, the rumors aren’t just about me, they’re ALL about my boyfriend. Yeah, typical, girl it’s in a relationship and BAM bring on the rumors after that!!! My thing is why would you go around talking about someone else’s relationship when you don’t even know the people involved, why would you say hurtful things about someone else’s boyfriend not even knowing his girlfriend. In my opinion it’s incredibly immature and it only makes you look stupid. And honestly is your life really THAT boring and unfulfilling that you have to go around saying stuff about a girl whom you’ve never talked to in your life and her boyfriend, who yes may be best friends with your best friend but that doesn’t mean you know him. Like honestly how pathetic can you get? Ugh. I just don’t understand people, I would never go around talking bad about SOMEONE ELSE’S relationship, I’m not in it so I have no idea how they act with each other, or how much they care about each other, so why would I want to disrupt their little bubble of happiness. Look, if two people are happy together let them be together! Don’t add unnecessary drama because a relationship on its own is hard enough so throw in some unnecessary drama and it’s like a bad soap opera. Okay, well, the whole moral of the story is to not listen to ANY rumors about your significant other, and if you hear something that does bother you a tad bit just casually ask them about it, don’t just jump to accusations. You need to be secure in YOURSELF AND your RELATIONSHIP (something I’m learning how to do) because at the end of the day a totally false rumor can end a totally true love.

Sha’naynay. Where do I start? Sha’naynay is the best friend ANYONE could ask for, she’s one of those people who just cares about everyone. I met her my Sophmore year in Spanish 101 and my Junior year we were the BEST of friends. Sha’naynay would most definitely have to be the one person to show me what a real friendship is about and to this day I’ve never clicked with anyone the way I click with her. She’s been through the darkest times in my life with me and even when I shut her out I knew she would always be there. She keeps me sane. Literally. She may be 4 hours away at college but I know no matter what she will pick up that phone and listen to me rant, no matter how stupid, she’ll sit there, listen and when I’m done say something along the lines of “Honey, you know I love you…” And then she’ll just tell me how it is, no sugar coating. And that’s exactly what I need. She is without a doubt one of the most important people in my life and my best friend. From my FIRST heartbreak, to my mom getting sick, to stupid rants about stupid boys she’s ALWAYS been there with a shoulder to cry on and an infinite amount of hugs to give. She’s an amazing person inside and out. Thank you, Isabel Taylor.

I don’t know why I like this picture so much. But that’s my little cousin, she got an Ipad for Christmas and we had a blast with it today. :)

Was a good day. Right along with yesterday :)

1.) Gum/mints- I’m always worried about how my breath smells so I keep gum on me at all times. I always pop a piece right before I see my boyfriend, you never know when you’ll get a suprise kiss.

2.) Hand sanitizer- I hate germs and I always need to use hand sanitizer before eating. Schools are germy places.

3.) Tampons/pads- I may not always need them but someone else might, and being without a feminine product is a terrible feeling.

4.) Lip balm- who wants dry crusty lips? So I carry my Burt’s Bees Chapstick with me everywhere, it’s soothing and smells minty. Lip balm also comes in hand for one of those suprise kisses I mentioned earlier.

5.) A mirror- It’s not conceited whatsoever to carry a mirror around, we all need to check ourselves at times.

6.) Perfume- Like a travel size bottle of perfume is always handy, it’s always nice to freshen up.

7.) Cash- everyone is always walking around with a debit card on them and never any cash anymore, well not all places except debit cards, so it’s nice to have back-up cash.

8.) Baby wipes- school toilet paper is rough on both your bottom and your vajayjay so it’s nice to keep those handy. It’s also a good way to freshen up quickly.

9.) Cell Phone- We all need to communicate, plus cell phones these days sometimes come with built-in flashlights, which is always handy.

10.) Condoms- I can’t believe I’m even saying this but I personally think a girl should carry at least one condom. Come on, we all have sex or have had sex, there’s nothing to be ashamed about at least you’re protecting yourself because in the heat of the moment he may not have a condom but YOU will.

11.) An extra hair tie- It’s so annoying when you want to pull your hair back but you can’t because you forgot a hair tie. They also come in handy on rainy days when everyone decides their hair needs to be up.

12.) A writing utensil- Well, we ALL write, so it’s just good to keep one on hand.

How long will it be until you get bored with me? I’m overthinking. As usual.
